What SixBit still does better than most of this list

A comparison that only flatters the alternatives is no use to you. SixBit does several things most of this list does not, and if you rely on them, switching is a step down.

• Consignment tracking. SixBit's consignment page describes emails to consignors when a sale completes, printable payout reports and commission structures with tranched or graduated scales and profit splits. Auctiva lists consignment on two plans. Almost nothing else here does.

Whatever you choose, eBay's own fees stay the same. eBay's selling fees page gives sellers up to 250 zero insertion fee listings a month, then charges $0.35 per listing. For most categories the final value fee is 13.6% of the sale up to $7,500 per item, and 2.35% on the portion above that. Three costs never appear on a pricing page:

Rebuilding your templates. Description wrappers, listing presets and item-specific defaults do not transfer between tools. Budget a weekend. It is easy to underestimate, so schedule it before you cancel anything.

Metering you are not used to. SixBit charges a flat fee by edition.
