We didn’t start as a software company. We were eBay dropshippers with 9-to-5 jobs, building stores on our lunch breaks. When we couldn’t find a tool that actually worked, we built one. That’s Ecomli.
01 Our story
From side hustle to full automation.
Ecomli started in 2024 as an internal tool. We were running eBay dropshipping stores manually: copy-pasting titles, checking supplier prices, repricing at 2 AM. It worked, but it didn’t scale.
So we built the tooling we wished existed: an AI that could find winning products, rewrite listing titles for SEO, match suppliers automatically, and reprice in real time. Then we added Stealth Mode so new accounts wouldn’t get flagged, and API Mode so established sellers could run hands-free 24/7.
Within months, our own stores went from a few hundred dollars a month to five-figure months on autopilot. Other sellers noticed. They asked to use the tool. We opened it up, and Ecomli was born.
The moment it clicked wasn’t hitting a revenue milestone. It was a Tuesday morning, opening a laptop to find twelve orders had fulfilled themselves overnight. No copy-pasting. No checking. Just done. That’s the experience we’ve been trying to give everyone since.
