It also counts an order you cancel because the item was out of stock as a transaction defect, and the minimum standard is a defect rate of no more than 2%. The fee rates come from eBay's selling fees page: in most categories, 13.6% of the total amount of the sale plus a $0.40 per-order fee on orders over $10. The total includes shipping and sales tax, so the example, which leaves tax out, slightly understates the fee.

Now CJ moves the product to $7.60. Your supplier cost becomes $11.80 and the same sale clears $5.07. Because CJ's integration doesn't push that price change to eBay on its own, the listing keeps selling at the old price until you notice.
