Best eBay Relisting Tools for Dead and Stale Listings

Best eBay Relisting Tools for Dead and Stale Listings

An eBay relisting tool earns its fee when it clears out listings nobody is looking at and puts sellable products back in front of buyers with fresh data. This guide ranks eight options for dead and stale listings, from rules-based pruning to the Relist button eBay already gives you.

Quick answer: The best eBay relisting tool for dropshippers is Ecomli. Its Auto Pruner ends dead listings in one click by your views, sales and age rules, and on Scale it relists removed products with fresh supplier data and new AI copy. Ecomli is our product; it is our pick for supplier-backed stores. Resellers with their own stock should look at 3Dsellers and Flipwise.

eBay relisting tool comparison at a glance

Each eBay relisting tool below handles two jobs differently: ending listings that have gone quiet, and putting products back up as new listings. The starting price is the lowest published monthly price as of Oct 2026, and the plan that carries the relist feature can cost more.

ToolRelist methodEnds dead listings?Starting price as of Oct 2026
1. EcomliAuto Pruner Advanced on Scale relists removed products with fresh supplier data and a new AI title and descriptionYes. One click ends listings with zero views and/or zero sales over 15, 30, 45 or 60 days (Pro and Scale)$29/month (Starter). Auto Pruner from Pro at $99/month
2. 3DsellersRe-list Automation ends and re-lists listings on a schedule you setYes, by sales and days-live conditions$19/month (Essential). The help article does not name the plan for the feature
3. FlipwiseEnds and relists fixed-price items just before eBay's auto-renew, with an optional price drop per relistEnds and relists before renewal rather than removingFree for new members up to 24 listings. $19.99/month for 100 to 499 listings
4. PrimeLister eBay AutomationRecreates items when they expire, timed for peak trafficNot described on its page$15/month per eBay store
5. eBay Seller Hub (built-in tools)Relist, multi-select relist, bulk listing tool, automatic relist for some auctionsManual. You choose what to endNo tool fee. eBay insertion fee rules apply
6. List PerfectlyBulk Relist (Business), Delist / Relist (Pro)Stale Listings prompts you to update, relist or remove (Pro Plus)$29/month (Simple). Relist features from $49/month
7. CrosslistOne-click delist and relist. Bulk relist replaces eBay listings with fresh versionsManual, by selection$29.99/month (Bronze)
8. VendooDelist & Relist. Bulk add-on handles up to 240 itemsManual, by selection$14.99/month (Starter)

Two patterns stand out. Ecomli and 3Dsellers choose which listings to end from rules you set, while the crosslisters mostly relist what you select by hand. eBay's built-in options carry no tool fee, but the insertion fee rules covered further down still apply.

How we ranked these relisting tools

Ecomli sits first because it is our product and because it handles both halves of the job for a dropshipping store. The rest are ordered by four tests, applied in order, using each vendor's own pricing and help pages and eBay's help center, all opened in October 2026.

  1. Rules for dead listings. Can the tool pick listings to end by views, sales or listing age, or do you pick them yourself?
  2. What the relist refreshes. Does the new listing carry updated data, copy or price, or is it a straight copy of the old one?
  3. How much runs after setup. Schedules and one-click runs rank above listing-by-listing work.
  4. Cost to reach the feature. The price of the plan that actually includes relisting, as of Oct 2026.

Crosslisting tools rank lower here because relisting is a side feature for them, and several are strong at their main job. Our cross-listing software rankings judge them on that.

The eBay relisting tools, ranked

Each entry covers what the relist feature does, what it costs as of Oct 2026, who it suits and where it falls short. The labels are deliberately narrow, because a tool that suits one kind of store can be the wrong pick for another.

1. Ecomli

Ecomli is our product, and it is our pick for Amazon and AliExpress dropshippers who need dead listings cleared and good products put back up.

Ecomli is a non-API browser extension for eBay dropshippers that works through the eBay seller account already signed in to your desktop Chrome browser. Its answer to dead listings is Auto Pruner, which ends them in one click using your rules and works from fresh Seller Hub reports. You start each run yourself, so the clean-out happens when you choose.

The rules cover zero views and/or zero sales over 15, 30, 45 or 60 days, a minimum listing age, and limits on how many listings a run removes. Listings with recent sales, or whose age Ecomli cannot confirm, stay protected. Those guards matter in a dropshipping store, where a loose filter could end a product that is still earning.

Auto Pruner Basic is included on Pro at $99/month and handles the ending side. Auto Pruner Advanced on Scale at $199/month also relists removed products with fresh supplier data and a new AI title and description, and relisted items get new eBay item IDs. Starter at $29/month does not include Auto Pruner, and the Ecomli pricing page sets out what each plan carries.

Best for: Amazon and AliExpress dropshippers on eBay who want dead listings cleared by rules and replaced with refreshed listings.

  • Pro: ends listings by views, sales and listing age, with a cap per run
  • Pro: recent sales or an unknown listing age keep a listing protected
  • Pro: on Scale, relists with fresh supplier data and a new AI title and description
  • Con: Auto Pruner is not on Starter, and relisting needs Scale
  • Con: built for eBay dropshipping from Amazon and AliExpress, so it does not crosslist to other marketplaces

2. 3Dsellers

3Dsellers is an eBay seller platform, and its listing tool includes a Re-list Automation that automatically ends and re-lists your eBay listings on a schedule you set. The help article's conditions include zero items sold in a recent window, such as the last 30 days, and a minimum number of days live, with filters for title, SKU, category, eBay Store category, listing type, price and quantity sold. Each re-list generates a brand new eBay listing ID, and auctions with active bids are skipped.

A separate Relist Item rule, added in May 2026, re-posts an item to eBay when a listing ends or an item sells. The help article warns that re-listing may incur insertion fees depending on your eBay subscription, and its documented example re-lists with the same settings and data. It does not list a views condition or say which plan includes the automation.

Plans start at $19/month for Essential with 100 listings, then $39.90 for Growth with 500 and $79 for Professional from 2,000 listings, as of Oct 2026. Our full 3Dsellers breakdown covers the rest of the platform.

Best for: eBay-only sellers who want scheduled, sales-based end-and-relist rules.

  • Pro: rules run on a schedule, with sales and listing-age conditions
  • Pro: a fresh eBay listing ID on every re-list
  • Pro: auctions with active bids are left alone
  • Con: no views condition in the help article
  • Con: the documented example reuses the old listing data, and the plan that includes the feature is not stated

3. Flipwise

Flipwise is a reseller tool whose automations end and relist your fixed-price items just before eBay's auto-renew. A repricing automation lowers the price by a percentage you choose on each relist, with a maximum reduction and timing you control. Flipwise keeps each item's history of price, title, photos and relists across listing IDs.

A delayed promotion feature targets items that go unsold for a window you choose. Pricing depends on store size, which Flipwise defines as active listings plus items sold over the last 30 days. New members get up to 24 listings free, the page shows $19.99/month for 100 to 499 listings as of Oct 2026, and Flipwise offers a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Step-down pricing suits stock you already own, where the price you will accept tends to fall as an item ages. Dropshippers price from a supplier cost that moves, so a fixed percentage cut needs a floor, and our repricing software rankings compare other ways to set prices.

Best for: resellers with their own stock who want each relist paired with a price step-down.

  • Pro: relists just before eBay's auto-renew
  • Pro: a percentage price drop per relist, with a maximum reduction
  • Pro: item history kept across listing IDs
  • Con: the page describes no views or sales filter for choosing which listings to end
  • Con: the page shows only one paid price band

4. PrimeLister eBay Automation

PrimeLister's eBay Automation costs $15/month per eBay store as of Oct 2026, and its page shows 7 days free before the monthly fee applies. It automatically recreates items when they expire and schedules the recreation at peak traffic times. It also sends offers to item watchers, with discount percentages and timing you can adjust.

The page gives one trigger for recreation, which is the listing expiring, and it does not describe ending listings by views or sales. PrimeLister's cross-listing plan is priced separately at $49.99/month as of Oct 2026 and lists unlimited delist, scheduled tasks, auto delisting and bulk tasks. If watcher offers matter to you, our guide to sending offers to watchers explains how eBay handles them.

Best for: sellers who want expired eBay listings recreated and watcher offers sent for a flat fee per store.

  • Pro: a flat monthly price per eBay store
  • Pro: recreation timed for peak traffic
  • Pro: watcher offers in the same tool
  • Con: only expiry triggers recreation, per the page
  • Con: no rules for ending dead listings are described, and each extra eBay store adds another monthly fee

5. eBay Seller Hub (built-in tools)

eBay's own relisting options carry no tool fee, though normal insertion fees apply to manual relists. You can relist an item from the Unsold section of My eBay, or tick several listings on Seller Hub's unsold listings page and relist them together. eBay's help page notes that relisted items can take several hours to appear on the site.

For larger batches, the eBay bulk listing tool in Seller Hub can create, relist or revise multiple listings at once. Sell similar is the other built-in route, and Crosslist's relist guide describes it as a brand-new listing with a fresh post date that drops the old watchers and sales history. Our walkthrough of eBay's relist screens covers each path step by step.

Automatic relisting still exists, but eBay limits it to listings created by new and occasional sellers. Auctions of 5 days or more relist automatically up to 8 times, and 1 or 3 day auctions come back as 7-day listings up to 8 times. These relists are free except in vehicle categories, where eBay allows up to 2 and charges the original insertion fee each time.

Fixed-price listings default to Good 'Til Cancelled and renew every month until they sell or you end them. One detail catches dropshippers out: eBay's help page says refunding a returned or canceled order relists the item unless you untick the relist box when you issue the refund. If the product is out of stock at the supplier, that relist puts it back on sale, so pair refunds with solid out-of-stock control.

Best for: low-volume sellers who are happy to choose and relist listings by hand.

  • Pro: no subscription or tool fee
  • Pro: relisting with eBay's own tool keeps a relist fee credit possible
  • Pro: multi-select relisting from Seller Hub's unsold listings page
  • Con: nothing picks dead listings for you
  • Con: automatic relisting covers only new and occasional sellers

6. List Perfectly

List Perfectly is a crosslisting tool, and its FAQ says it supports U.S. marketplaces only. As of Oct 2026, Bulk Relist starts on Business at $49/month, Delist / Relist and End Listing / Mark Sold start on Pro at $69/month, and Stale Listings is on Pro Plus at $99+/month. The Simple plan at $29/month includes none of them.

The pricing page describes Delist / Relist as relisting active listings with the click of a button, and Stale Listings as a prompt to update, relist or remove an item before it loses visibility. Its FAQ adds that Auto Delist works only when listing quantity is set to 1, so a multi-quantity eBay listing will not end automatically when an item sells elsewhere. Our comparison of Vendoo, List Perfectly and Crosslist sets the three crosslisters side by side.

Best for: U.S. resellers crosslisting single-quantity items who want prompts on stale listings.

  • Pro: Stale Listings prompts on Pro Plus
  • Pro: bulk relist from Business, one-click delist and relist from Pro
  • Con: U.S. marketplaces only
  • Con: Simple has no relist features, and Auto Delist is Pro Plus only and needs quantity 1

7. Crosslist

Crosslist includes delist and relist on every plan as of Oct 2026, and its pricing page describes it as delisting and relisting with one click to keep listings fresh and visible. Its eBay relist guide says a bulk relist deletes your existing eBay listings and replaces them with fresh versions, which go live automatically because Crosslist has autoposting. The guide does not say whether watchers or sales history carry over.

Plans differ by how many new listings you can add each month: Bronze $29.99 (200), Silver $34.99 (500), Gold $39.99 (1,000) and Diamond $44.99 (unlimited). Autodelisting appears on Gold and Diamond only. New accounts get 20 free listings with a 3-day money-back guarantee on the first purchase.

Best for: crosslisters who want one-click relisting on the cheapest plan.

  • Pro: relisting on every plan
  • Pro: bulk relist replaces eBay listings in one pass
  • Con: no rules to choose dead listings
  • Con: autodelisting needs Gold or Diamond, and carry-over of watchers is not stated

8. Vendoo

Vendoo lists Delist & Relist on its Starter plan at $14.99/month as of Oct 2026, with Growth at $29.99 and Pro at $59.99. Its help center describes a Bulk Delist & Relist add-on that handles up to 240 items at once and replaces each listing with a brand-new one at a new URL. All three plans list sale detection and auto delisting for eBay and other marketplaces.

Vendoo's own guide names eBay and advises using delist and relist there very sparingly, noting that your eBay subscription can limit you. The same guide says the feature works best on Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Grailed, Kidizen and Facebook Marketplace. The pricing page lists Stale Listing Reminders without showing which plans include them, and it shows 14 days free before billing starts.

Best for: crosslisters whose main channels are Poshmark, Mercari or Depop, with eBay alongside.

  • Pro: a low $14.99 starting price
  • Pro: bulk delist and relist up to 240 items, plus sale detection and auto delisting on every plan
  • Con: Vendoo's own guide advises sparing use on eBay
  • Con: no rules for picking dead listings, and bulk relist is an add-on

When to end, relist or leave a listing alone

Relisting a product that nobody wants resets the clock on the same problem. Before any tool touches a listing, separate the ones buyers never see from the ones they see and skip. Views answer the first question, and sales answer the second.

SignalWhat it usually points toNext step
Zero views over your windowBuyers are not finding itFix the title and item specifics, or end it
Views but no salesBuyers find it and passCheck price, photos and shipping, then relist or replace it
Recent salesThe listing still earnsLeave it live
Supplier out of stockNothing to ship right nowLet stock rules zero the quantity or end it

Our diagnostic for listings with no views covers the first row in detail. For the second, track sell-through rate across the category before deciding whether the product or the listing is at fault.

Cost is the other reason to act. Good 'Til Cancelled listings renew once per calendar month, and each renewal counts toward your free listings and is charged an insertion fee once the allowance is used up. A dead listing left live keeps drawing on that allowance every month, so ending it can matter as much as relisting it.

Pull listing data from Seller Hub reports, and read our guide to ending versus deleting eBay listings before a large clean-out.

What relisting costs on eBay

eBay charges an insertion fee for the original listing and each time you choose to relist, and that fee is not refunded if the item doesn't sell. Every account gets up to 250 zero insertion fee listings a month, or more with an eBay Store, and after that the fee is $0.35 per listing in most categories. Upgrade fees apply again to any upgrades you select on a manual relist.

SituationWhat eBay charges
Manual relist inside your free allowanceNo insertion fee
Manual relist after the free allowance$0.35 insertion fee in most categories, plus any upgrades you pick
Good 'Til Cancelled monthly renewalInsertion fee and upgrades at each renewal, counted toward free listings
Automatic auction relist (new and occasional sellers)Free, except vehicle categories
Relist that sells and meets eBay's credit conditionsInsertion fee for the relist credited back

How to avoid eBay relisting fees

  1. Relist with eBay's tools, not copy and paste. eBay credits the insertion fee for a relist when the item sells, both listings use the same format, you relist within 90 days of the original ending, it is your first manual relist of the item, the starting price is lower than the original and you add no reserve.
  2. End dead listings before they renew. Every Good 'Til Cancelled renewal draws on the same monthly allowance as a new listing, so clearing listings that never sell leaves room for products that might.
  3. Skip paid upgrades on relists. Upgrade fees are charged again on a manual relist, so add them only where they earn their cost.
  4. Size your Store to your listing count. A Store raises the free allowance, and our guide to choosing an eBay Store tier compares the options.

Illustration only: a seller without an eBay Store has 600 Good 'Til Cancelled listings and adds nothing new in a month. All 600 renewals count toward the 250 free listings, so 350 renewals pay $0.35 each, or $122.50. Ending 200 listings that never sold before they renew leaves 400 renewals, 150 of them paid, for $52.50.

The full fee picture, including final value fees, is in our breakdown of eBay listing fees.

Who should use a relisting tool, and who can skip one

A paid relisting tool makes sense once picking dead listings by hand takes longer than the subscription costs you. Below that point, eBay's own Relist option and a regular look through unsold listings do the job.

A relisting tool suits you if:

  • you run hundreds of Good 'Til Cancelled listings and renewals are eating into your free allowance
  • you dropship from Amazon or AliExpress and want removed products relisted with current supplier data
  • you crosslist and need eBay relists to fit the same workflow as your other marketplaces
  • you want rules, such as zero sales in 30 days, to decide what ends

You can probably skip one if:

  • you list a few dozen one-off items and relist them by hand from the Unsold section
  • you sell auctions as a new or occasional seller and eBay's automatic relisting already covers you
  • your listings sell steadily, so there is little dead stock to clear

If creating listings in volume is the bigger job, our roundup of bulk listers is the better starting point.

How to do this in Ecomli

Clearing dead listings in Ecomli starts with Auto Pruner. Set the window to 15, 30, 45 or 60 days, choose zero views, zero sales or both, and add a minimum listing age and a cap on how many listings a run can end. Start the run with one click, and Ecomli reads fresh Seller Hub reports, ends the listings that match and leaves protected ones alone.

On Pro, Auto Pruner Basic handles the ending. On Scale, Auto Pruner Advanced also relists the removed products with fresh supplier data and a new AI title and description, and each relisted item gets a new eBay item ID.

To fill the gaps, Product Hunting researches an eBay seller's sold history and listings and matches them to Amazon or AliExpress products, with filters for price, reviews, Amazon FBA and AliExpress Choice. Pick products and press Start, and Ecomli handles the rest: it writes the AI title and description and publishes the listing, with Safety Shield acting as a checkpoint for flagged brands and restricted items and the duplicate checks running automatically.

Stock Monitoring then keeps those listings in line with supplier stock and prices, updating eBay price and quantity or ending out-of-stock items by your rules. A failed supplier read holds the listing unchanged. The automation overview on the Ecomli homepage shows how these features fit together.

Frequently asked questions about eBay relisting tools

What is the best eBay relisting tool for dropshippers?

Ecomli is our product and our pick for Amazon and AliExpress dropshippers. Its Auto Pruner ends dead listings in one click by views, sales and listing-age rules, and Auto Pruner Advanced on Scale relists removed products with fresh supplier data and a new AI title and description. For resellers with owned stock, 3Dsellers Re-list Automation and Flipwise handle scheduled or pre-renewal relisting.

How many times will eBay automatically relist unsold items?

eBay's help page says automatic relisting is only for listings created by new and occasional sellers. Auction listings of 5 days or more relist up to 8 times, and 1 or 3 day auctions come back as 7-day listings up to 8 times. Vehicle listings relist up to 2 times and pay the original insertion fee each time, while fixed-price listings renew monthly as Good 'Til Cancelled.

Do you pay a fee every time you relist on eBay?

eBay charges an insertion fee for the original listing and each time you relist, but only after you pass your free allowance of up to 250 listings a month, or more with a Store. After that the fee is $0.35 per listing in most categories. If a manual relist sells and meets eBay's credit conditions, the insertion fee for that relist is credited back.

Can I end an eBay listing and then relist it?

Yes. eBay's help page says fixed-price listings can be ended at any time, while auctions can only be ended early in specific circumstances, and items ended early must be relisted manually. To keep the option of a fee credit, relist within 90 days using eBay's relist tool rather than copying the listing, and keep the same format.

Is it worth relisting items on eBay?

It is worth it when the product still has demand and the listing was the problem, such as a weak title, a high price or poor photos. Relisting an unchanged listing for a product nobody searches for adds fees without fixing anything. Check views and sell-through first, then relist, revise or replace the product.

Is there a free eBay relisting tool?

eBay's own Relist option and the bulk listing tool in Seller Hub come with your account, and automatic auction relists for new and occasional sellers are free outside vehicle categories. Normal insertion fees still apply once you pass your free listing allowance. Among paid tools, Flipwise lets new members manage up to 24 listings free.

Does a relisted item get a new eBay item ID?

It depends on the tool. Ecomli's Auto Pruner Advanced gives relisted items new eBay item IDs, 3Dsellers says each re-list gets a brand new listing ID, and Vendoo's bulk relist creates a new listing at a new URL. eBay's relisting help page does not say whether a manual relist keeps the item number, so check the listing once it goes live.

Can I relist many eBay listings at once?

Yes. On Seller Hub's unsold listings page you can tick several listings and relist them together, and eBay's bulk listing tool can create, relist or revise multiple listings at once. For rules and scale, Vendoo's bulk add-on handles up to 240 items at a time and 3Dsellers runs re-lists on a schedule.

Which Ecomli plan includes Auto Pruner?

Auto Pruner Basic is included on Pro at $99/month and ends dead listings by your rules. Auto Pruner Advanced is included on Scale at $199/month and also relists removed products with fresh supplier data and a new AI title and description. Starter at $29/month does not include Auto Pruner, and every plan comes with a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.

Will Auto Pruner end a listing that sold recently?

No. Listings with recent sales stay protected, and so do listings whose age Ecomli cannot confirm. Auto Pruner only ends listings that match your rules, such as zero views and/or zero sales over 15, 30, 45 or 60 days, past your minimum listing age and within the cap you set for each run.
